"I hired Trent/Red Sun to do a large hardscaping project in my backyard. I had a designer do the layout, and took 2 quotes in addition to the designer. I did significant research/review reading prior to selecting him for a quote. Trent's rates were competitive (everyone was similar in cost) but he had an eye for some issues in the design that needed to be corrected, and brought me some unique materials in order to achieve the aesthetic that I was going for. (Hello---interlocking gecko pavers, like mc escher!) He worked with me to make several modifications to spread my budget out in the best possible way.
He communicated well during all phases of the project and checked in on his install team regularly. There was a minor delay or two but he was always communicating well in advance--and ultimately met the "need to be done no later than" date well in advance. I had a few minor changes during the install and he handled them easily. I can be a picky customer and he was patient through the process. I would definitely use Red Sun again in the future."
